The Story of OllinMovimiento OllinMovimiento was born in 2014 when I transitioned from my founder role at Project Commotion, a space we created to provide movement and healing for low income children and children with "special needs." Birthed from a passion for children, culture and community, I combine my knowledge of Capoeira, which I have practiced for 17 years and the teachings of my mother Imelda with techniques of Hanna Somatics to provide group movement classes and individual healing sessions. Each client connects with their own life force and travels a path to personal freedom connected with community and grounded in culture.
